For most of us, life is busy and as a result we tend to compromise on choices about things like food and health because of factors such as time and cost. Becoming a mum about 8 years ago changed the way I now look at what I eat and what goes on my skin. Have a look through my site to learn a little more about what chemicals and toxins are within everyday products, including those which have been proven to cause allergies, cancer, development and reproductive issues, endocrine concerns as well as causing considerable damage to our precious environment.

I developed Apple and Rhubarb because I am passionate about sharing information about products which are non-toxic and ethically sourced, with as many people as possible, click below to sign up for my free newsletter. I also have an online store attached, which you’re welcome to browse.

My goal is to simplify the way we live and eat to make it a hassle free and toxic free experience. The more I investigated the more I found things that I wish I had considered earlier. Many manufacturing companies don’t consider consumer’s health or wellbeing when they produce their products. They are looking at the profit margins, which can drive them to produce inferior quality products that could be putting yours and your family’s health at risk.

Have you ever asked yourself the question, “I wonder what’s in that?” But never had the time to investigate or resources to find out. Well lets take a closer look: consider your morning routine; have a shower and use the body wash or soap we bought at the supermarket, wash our hair with commercial shampoo and conditioner and then jump out of the shower and spray on the deodorant, spread on some daily moisturiser, then perhaps apply the usual make-up which has worked so well for you for many years. Up until this point you have probably used up to 100 chemicals many of which are toxic. Use this site as a way to navigate the often hidden ingredients within your everyday routine and start your toxic free journey here.
